Hello everyone, I am a mathematician working in the automotive industry as a Machine Learning Engineer. Currently, I am writing my PhD thesis in cooperation with ZF Friedrichshafen AG and the University of Osnabrück. The topic of the thesis is in the field of time series classification for highly sampled data such as audio or structure-borne sound. My research interests are in applying graph theory and complex networks to solve machine learning problems.
If there is any time left over, I work on web development projects and fun business ideas, which has led me to create an online store for alpaca merchandise and a website through which you can find random items on Amazon.
In an interdisciplinary team of doctoral students from ZF Friedrichshafen AG, we have developed an anomaly detection algorithm that recognizes wear in wind turbines. This was awarded 1st place by the Stiftung Umweltpreis and with the best paper award from CoEEE in 2021.
Development of deep learning algorithms for the classification of sirens in road traffic in the field of autonomous driving.
